Harish Katkam in conversation

Unhurried conversations with dreamers, doers, and disruptors.

A Telugu vodcast about the people behind the work, how they made it, why they failed, what they still carry, and the lessons no classroom ever teaches.

Harish Katkam, host of the podcast, sitting in front of a microphone

A curious host who believes the best stories arrive when nobody is in a hurry.

Harish grew up asking one too many questions, the kind that make dinner tables go quiet. That instinct became a vodcast: a way to understand not just what people built, but how they really did it.

He is less interested in résumés than in turning points, and believes ordinary people carry extraordinary lessons, if someone has the patience to ask.

Curiosity

Real stories are easy to find until they aren’t.

100 clips a day

Highlight reels, hot takes, thirty-second wins. The interesting part is always the one that got cut.

The middle, missing

The doubts, the wrong turns, the slow decisions that actually compounded. None of it made the edit.

Nothing to hold onto

You finish scrolling knowing how it looked, and almost nothing about how it happened.

So Harish built a room for the long version. No countdown, no performance, just enough time and trust for people to say the true thing. Because meaningful conversation is becoming rare, and rare things are worth protecting.

Long conversations, held with care.

Not interviews so much as sittings, with enough room for a real story to arrive at its own pace.

The recording setup — Harish and a guest mid-conversation in the studio
Wide studio shot — full podcast set with cameras, lighting, and guests
Behind the scenes — crew preparing a podcast recording session
01The format
One guest, one long sitting. Conversations run as long as they need to, usually somewhere past the hour, right where the polished answers give way to the honest ones.
02The style
Warm and unscripted. Serious questions and easy laughter share the same table. Silence is allowed; so is changing your mind mid-sentence.
03The guests
Founders and officers, doctors and artists, quiet experts and loud dreamers: anyone who has built something, lost something, or learned something worth passing on.
04The experience
Made to be listened to on a long drive or a slow evening. Nothing to keep up with, nothing to swipe. Just a conversation you can sink into.

One conversation, every thread.

Different guests, different worlds, but the conversations keep circling the same handful of human questions.

What you take away.

A few reasons people keep coming back, and stay for the whole thing.

Harish and a guest mid-conversation
  1. Honest conversations

No talking points, no rehearsed answers. Just people speaking plainly about what they've lived through, including the parts that didn't work out.

  2. Room to think

Long-form by design. Ideas are allowed to unfold at their own pace, without the pressure to be neat or the rush to the next thing.

  3. Practical insight

Beneath every story is something you can use: a decision reframed, a mistake named early, a way of seeing the work more clearly.

  4. Perspectives you'd otherwise miss

Officers and founders, doctors and artists. Different worlds, one table, and the surprising places where their experiences rhyme.
